Thanks Sully & Reddog. I think a lot of those fashions were geared toward those who lived in large cities. Enjoyed watching Soul Train because like American Bandstand the dancing audience was considered 'stars' too.

I grew up in the 70's and Sears and Roebuck catalog didn't have clothes like that. That was where my Mom ordered all our clothes since she didn't drive. But I do remember a lot of those styles making the disco scene and on Soul Train. As for the men's underwear,,, I thought I saw John Holmes lol.

I used to belong to a club called DREAD " Detroit Rockers engaged in the abolition of Disco" No platforms for us.<br
