That does not apply in this situation. In an educational setting one has to follow protocol...that's alert administration or security that trained to deal with terrorists or a threat to a school setting. This does not apply to students that we ASSuME are illegal. That's call being PREJUDICE. This is why teaching is not for the faint in heart.

It is not a teacher's job to act like an administrator or an ICE agent. That is unprofessional. That is not part of their job description. A teacher's job is to teach, maintain discipline, and adhere to the curriculum that has been established by their board of education. But most of all, it's a teacher's job to make sure that everyone assigned to them feel welcome and safe. Period.
