It's not a matter of IF the "pubs" are correct -- they are "right" after all -- it's a matter of whether they did a good enough job of not letting The New York Times, CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC trash them too much. I have to admit, the news media ran an excellent campaign this year, but we'll figure out a way to beat 'em next time

You're in dream-land, but you might as well enjoy it while youre there. Democrats have a slim margin in the house, and even if they get both VA and MT in the Senate, they will be over the top by a single seat. They had modest pickups, with only a net gain of 27 seats. If you want to compare that to the Republican take-ver in 1994, that was a 50+ seat takeover. The country is still divided in half. But there is one thing for sure - the American people knows what "Republican" means and don't want it anymore and is sick and tired of being overly-oppressed by the kind of government it created while in control for 12 years.
