An employee at the United Nations (UN) was arrested Monday for robbing four Manhattan banks, all during his lunch breaks.

Nigeria native Abdullahi Shuaibu, 53, was detained and charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of attempted robbery for his two-month long crime spree.

According to authorities, the four banks that were robbed are within walking distance of UN headquarters on First Avenue near East 42nd Street, where Shuaibu works for an African news agency as a journalist.

Shuaibu was arrested after a retired police officer who works at the UN headquarters recognized him from a surveillance image released by the New York Police Department.......
