I never said any such thing. For those individuals that qualify, Medicare and Medicaid have been in existence since 1965. But there was never any Odumbo Care until Insane Hussein signed it into law in 2010. It has been a tremendous, unmitigated burden and failure, costing the US taxpayer trillions of dollars and resulting in higher premiums for working families to purchase totally useless plans. Carry on with Medicare and Medicaid, but the federal government should NOT be subsidizing nationwide general healthcare plans. Before Odumbocare, most people got their health insurance from employer provided benefits. Many employers were forced out of business or had to reduce the workforce to be in compliance with government requirements. The former employees that were let go had to go out and purchase one of the useless Odumbocare plans. Useless because the deductibles were so large they never got to use the plan. The GOP has made significant improvements to Odumbocare, such as lowering costs and eliminating coverage mandates. But is still looks and smells too much like Odumbocare. It needs to go away completely. Put it back the way it was before Insane Hussein screwed it up in 2010. Simple as that.
