Son left an mp3 player in his blue jeans and washed them in washing maching and when I went to put them in the dryer there it was...... I layed it face down on the dryer and let it stay there for 2 days letting the heat from the dry it out.... It works,,,,Maybe it will work with a cell phone.......good luck!!!!!!!!! charh20

Take the battery out, cover off if you can and blow it out thoroughly with canned air. Allow to dry for several days or a couple of weeks before attempting to use it again because if still moist it will short out the board, fry the phone. My phone got left in a pocket which went through the clothes washer so BTDT. The phone may not survive but those SIM cards are tough as heck. Phone flaky so replaced ..... still using same SIM card.
