As far as I'm concerned prejudice, bigotry, and discrimination is the #1 brain defect because it's a learned behavior that's passed on to generation after generation. Now back to the subject at hand. In 1974, the Netherlands became the first country to grant transgender people the right to serve in the armed forces. Since then, a small list of countries have allowed their citizens to serve without any restrictions on sexual orientation or preferred gender. These countries are Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Australia, Canada, Israel, Czech Republic, UK, France, Germany, Estonia, Finland, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Thailand(administrative only), and Bolivia.
