The college pay for their room, courses, books, and food. They in turn promise to let them abuse their bodies for 4 years provided they last that long due to injury after injury. They make millions for the college and receive very little for their talents. No college is going to let the government cost them a championship, they will just call affirmative action something else to appease them.
