The shopping benefit will be effective this Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2017

https://www.vetverify.org/

----------------------------------------------

https://www.shopmyexchange.com/

https://www.mynavyexchange.com/

https://shopcgx.com/

-----------------------------------------------

https://www.defense.gov/News/Article/Article/1049558/

http://www.snopes.com/veterans-shop-exchange-online/

-----------

The inventory on the military exchanges is very limited.

But I think that they don't even come close to Amazon.Com in any way whatsoever at least at this time

Wanna buy something? First try local at WalMart, Etc, then try online at Amazon.Com, Etc

I might be wrong, but at this time, I don't see any benefit at shopping at any of the military online exchanges.

If they wanna be good, then they need to be more like Amazon.Com:

They need to consolidate all the military exchanges into just one online site

They need to have just one inventory for all (everybody) and no longer individual inventories for each of their military branches.

In other words, they need to consolidate all the inventories into one inventory for all the military services and patrons and have just one online store for all (for everybody).

They need to greatly broaden their inventory such as Amazon.Com has done and keeps on doing.

They also need to have rating pages from customers for each of the items that they sell such as Amazon.Com has done.

They need to have more participation on their online site from their sources of inventory and from their customers such as Amazon.Com has done.

At present, Amazon.Com is light-years ahead of them, Amazon.Com is light years ahead of everybody on the retail business.

Why would anybody want to shop at the military online exchanges when instead they can shop at Amazon.Com?

And DOD doesn't allow veterans (unless you are a retired veteran) to buy uniform related items, tobacco and alcohol at the online military exchanges.

Oh well, to each their own, I am sure that some of the veterans will sometime(s) buy some item(s) from the military online exchanges.

I am going to give you an example:

Vitamix Super 5200 At the exchanges = $499.99 https://www.shopmyexchange.com/vitamix-super-5200/2737728;jsessionid=2EB9EA61E112B368C9BAFDF49A8AB79B.aafes-store3-05

Costco = $499.99 https://www.costco.com/Vitamix-5200-Blender-Super-Package.product.11609068.html

Everything Kitchens = $549 with free shipping https://www.everythingkitchens.com/vita-mix_super_5200_blender_1373_1374.html

Amazon.com = $618 with free shipping https://www.amazon.com/Vitamix-Blender-Super-Package-Black/dp/B008BF8QKW

But on Amazon.com you can return the item for any reason with-in a certain time if you are not happy with it and you can read all the reviews posted there.

I don't know if on the exchanges you get free shipping or not, but probably not.

And the items inventory on the military exchanges is very limited when compared to the inventory on Amazon.com

... [ More ]
