I grew up in the same time zone. As kids we couldn't say it this way, but it was basically put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye for a nuclear explosion drill. Our generation grew up with this as a real part of our lives. The majority of the world population doen't have a clue as to the planetary devastation a nuclear war would entail. we better hope that nuclear weapons are never exploded anywhere. And not to include power plant eruptions. Chernobyl is still leaking radiation into the air and will be for eons to come. we as people can only pray that no one does such a horrendous thing. i do believe that some nations understand this and are seeking other ways to win a major war without destroying the planet.
