amber123, Also in the Chapter of "Say NO" is the recommendation to slow down everything and become business like. He or She who has the gold makes the rules. Every person who requests money from you will go through a formal process of interviews, paper work, etc.. They will learn that you are not a push over.

The following is from the book by Robert Pagliarini. It was written by Ralph Waldo Emerson.

It is commonly observed that a sudden wealth, like a prize drawn in the lottery or a huge request to a poor family, does not permanently enrich.

They have served no apprenticeship to wealth and with rapid wealth comes rapid claims which they do not know how to deny, and the treasure is quickly dissipated.

This was in the Chapter, NO of the book titled, The Sudden Wealth Solution .
