Obama didn't cause racism, it was already here. There are elements in this country that fought against Obama because of his race, period. There were people in congress, white supremacist, talk radio, and right wing sites that made it their mission to try and make Obama a one-term president. Even Trump participated by pushing the birther issue. To say that Obama caused division is laughable. None of this worked because Obama was presidential, knowledgeable about his agenda, and was very caring about people of all races, backgrounds, and sexual orientation.
