LOL @ justxploring...I didn't think you were that old. Isn't it amazing how companies will spend money like it's water, yet, they will not give you a bonus or extra vacation time or whatever, but say they are overspending? We have groups of 5 people go to Asia every couple of months at least and they never do anything but sit around over there and spend the dough...makes no sense.

Agree with Emily. Good stuff. BTW, I got my gift card today. I boldly asked for it! (now what did I do with it?) cps10, I worked for a company for 21 years. In 1974 they held a meeting in AZ at a golf resort that cost over $150,000 to tell us they were downsizing to save money. Go figure.

<br />Here's a story about Direct Deposit. From what I understand, everyone got a $50 gift card to Sharper Image with their paychecks last week. 2 people I work with already got their cards before Christmas. The gift cards were handed out as a surprise with the checks. I'm trying to figure out how to approach this. I have direct deposit. Duh! (Guess the only way is to go in and ask.
