I had transplanted it a few days ago from the butternut squash bin into one of the 2 1/2 gallon pails and it took well and survived. There are new shoots growing on it so I figure another crop off of that plant.

The butternut squash plants are doing well.

The seeds I planted of squash I spoke about have not peeked out and seen what the world looks like yet.

Took the two step stepladder out this afternoon to reach the top of the yellow cherry tomato plant to pick some ripe ones.

Decided not to build another wooden box for squash. The box will take about ten gallons of container mix with dimension of 15 x 15 inch inside measure and 12 inches tall. Will purchase TWO five gallon pails instead. One plant in a five gallon pail should survive in that space.

Until next time.

Going to go have supper with my salad containing curly parsley, yellow cherry tomatoes two leaves of lettuce a potion of soya cucumber sprinkled with Parmesan and Romano cheese. Plus salad dressing.

... [ More ]
