<br />Just a note: many children 2 and under have died from this drug. However, in almost every case they had 10 to 15 times the recommended dosage for children over 2! What were the parents thinking? It also says not to administer to children under the age of 2 even on the children's formulas and several of the children were younger. I think people feel "it's over-the-counter so it must be safe." However, NOTHING is safe if you don't follow the directions on the label.... [ More ]

I thought that took place a few years back. Used to take Tavist-D which had PPA in it and it was removed from the market by the manufacturer..... along with Dimetapp 12 hour back then too. Because of that recall pickings are very slim for OTC antihistamines!!
