Thanks Jarasan. Will see if I can find and post article which said that for the past 20 years or so average temps have remained about the same. We know we're experiencing weather anomalies but in all likelihood the earth has experienced many anomalies in its existence.

CO2 is about 410 parts per million of the atmosphere all depending where the measurement is taken.............that is .041% of the air we breath, we exhale co2 and everything else we need the o2 which is 14%.................

Thanks JAP. I hope the younger kids take off with this idea. Seedlings which are only a couple of dollars can be planted using hydro gel along with other soil amendments. Hydro-gel absorbs and holds water at the roots to be used as trees need it which increases the probability the seedling will grow into a tree. Reforestation is simpler and less expensive than many might believe.

I have watched and read history about when the population increased trees were the main source for fuel and building materials. You could see how the forests disappeared in Europe from the continuous cutting. Then the new world was discovered and they continued the same deforestation there. The same thing is happening in South America. Clear the land of forest for human needs. The human species is one of the most destructive to ever inhabit this planet.

German 12-Year-old Boy Plants 1Million Trees, Takes Over UN Program to Plant a Trillion More

......Ever since he was 9 years old, Felix Finkbeiner has been an international figurehead for saving the planet. In 2007, the German youngster founded a global youth movement called Plant for the Planet an initiative that trains and recruits kids from around the world to plant trees as a means of combatting climate change.

Since its creation, the movement has already made significant progress with the help of over 100,000 enthusiastic youth between the ages of 9 and 12 and he planted his one-millionth tree in Germany when he was just twelve. Alongside the Paris Agreement, Finkbeiner s campaign is a formidable defense of the planet.....

...... Children could plant 1 million trees in every country on earth and offset CO2 emissions all on their own, while adults are still talking about doing it, said Finkbeiner. His motto, Stop talking, start planting, suggests the same sentiment....
