Went to store this morning and purchased four sheets of 220 grit sandpaper, one can of fine wood paste wax and a one pound roll of rags. Got home and sanded the newly stained counter top. Made that dust free and applied the polyurethane. Cleaned my brush and that was it for today on that project. While sitting in the chair next to the counter top having a nice chew of tobaky I looked across the counter top at eye level and seen where the poly absorbed into the wood more. Standing up looking at the counter top I can not see where the poly absorbed in more. Tomorrow I will lightly sand the top and remove the dust. Then give the counter top another coat of poly. Will give a third coat if need be the next day.

Then I went to the gym this afternoon. Did not go yesterday as I was busy with the counter top.

... [ More ]
