Original Blog Entry: Lotsoft Pro - Live Updates

For those who have a working copy of Lotsoft Pro and are receiving errors that Live Updates are not working follow the steps below.

You will need to change the servers file location.

You will need either Microsoft Acces or a FREE program called mdb viewer. (See download link below to MDB Plus)

Here is the zip file for MDB Plus.

1 Create a new folder and name it MDB Viewer or anything you like.

2 Download MDB PLus using the link below and save it to your new folder.

3 Unzip the files

4 Double click the exe file. The program does NOT install on your computer but shouls open.

5 On the main menu. Click File Open and browse to the folder where Lotsoft is installed in the Programs Folder. Normally C:\Program Files\INW\Lotsoft

6 Open the folder data

7 Locate the file props.mdb or props file

8 You will be prompted to enter a password. Enter the password: {0,1}f(XP)

9 You should see the following:

10 Click the tbl_props tab (see above screen shot)

11 Change the settings on lines 27 (FTP Location) and 28 (FTP Subfolder). Click inside each of these cells and change the settings.

12 Close MDB viewer

13 Open Lotsoft Pro and click Live Updates.

Live Updates should now be working...
