The difference is WHY. Todd probably banned you for breaking one or more of his rules*, his terms of use...not just once, because he seems to be lenient in that regard, but for multiple violations. He seems to give more latitude on these blogs, but on the message boards? Not so much, b/c they are more visible to the members, while it seems most people don't visit these blogs.
