The worst thing was people installing all types of apps or playing games that gave the apps/games access to their accounts, esp. their friends list and information associated with that. I've thought about joining again, just b/c of my younger kinfolk and old school friends, but would use a fake name and a throwaway email account...but it really doesn't seem worth it.

Thanks Mike. I think they allowed the situation to become obvious to everyone before applying a remedy. I'd just like to see all social media open to everyone as a modern town hall for debating the issues. I also feel we have sufficient law enforcement to investigate the usual stuff.

It was when those conservative groups started disappearing that I started to question FB's ulterior motives. Also, it was disturbing to see groups like "Kill Sarah Palin!" or "Somebody Shoot Trump, Please!" stay up while people were banned for calling them out. I was given a three day ban for reporting several of those type groups within a few hours, being told I was "abusing the reporting process". Silly me, I thought I was only doing "what was right". The scathing indictment of Facebook's liberal mono-culture continues:

And they called me a transphobe when I called out our corporate art for being politically radical.
