<br />I've seen all sorts of statistics on any range of time, but most sources say we have more trees here in this country than 50+ yrs. ago. Of course, they're not the old growth forests that were decimated on the East Coast when the first settlers came and when we became a rapidly growing country or the redwoods and sequoias that were shortsightedly chopped down on the West Coast, but we've certainly been keeping up and surpassing our use of timber by planting more. <br /><br />What I find i... Scientists believe that Earth could experience a big freeze as the sun goes through what s known as solar minimum. During this time, sunspots are minimal and the globe could be in for a wicked cold snap.

Scientists are reporting that the sun has been free of sunspots for a total of 133 days this year, according to The Express UK.
