			<description><![CDATA[<p>&#x3c;br /&#x3e;I have had success with a 16 oz. or liter empty soda bottle, cutting off the top - like a funnel - and after putting in a piece of banana (or just the peel), stapling the upside down &#x22;funnel&#x22; to the larger part.  They fly in but most don&#x27;t fly out.  I don&#x27;t drink much pop, so I ran out of those quickly.&#x3c;br /&#x3e;&#x3c;br /&#x3e;After you posted this this morning, I went and read about them (after having one fly up my nose), they&#x27;re also called &#x22;vinegar flies&#x22; - I did not know that... &#x5b;&#xa0;<a href="https://blogs.lotterypost.com/jap69/2018/9/catching-drosophila-melanogaster.htm#c192872">More</a>&#xa0;&#x5d;</p>]]></description>
