Like most victims of sexual harassment and abuse, physical abuse, they are afraid to come forward immediately because they are embarrassed or for other reasons that you and I don't know. So to say that why did she come forward now is irrelevant. I'm guessing there are tens of thousands of cases out there people who are eating my molested when they were young and never came out or who are adults and were raped who never came out until they see others come forward which makes them more comfortable to speak out about their crisis....
