Friars and this remarkably exquisite work saved Western Christianity, after the fall of Rome, and Christianity saved the Irish - now isn't that grand lads & lassies

Ever watch the TV series "American Gods"? They had an entire episode about the "mythical creatures" of Ireland. It was very poignant, one of the best ones so far.
