<br />They're beautiful plants, with lovely green leaves at first w/ red "veins", then as they mature, the entire plant turns a deep red, nearly maroon and the seed cluster is gorgeous. The seeds are encased in a thorny round pod and the seeds themselves look a lot like pinto beans.<br /><br />I doubt anyone would send you ricin, though, even though it's fairly simple to make. I'd be more worried about a crooked financial adviser or lawyer after winning the lottery. You could always bundle up... [ More ]

The President and the Pentagon have been targeted with letters containing the poison Ricin. Should potential lottery winners open all the mail that he or she gets?

I will recycle or trash all the letters. Be aware beggars.
