Beto O'Rourke s loss to Ted Cruz is a heartwarming reminder that money can t buy elections

Democratic candidate Beto O Rourke s Senate campaign crashed harder Tuesday evening than a speeding Volvo driven by a drunk judge s son.

Beto spent $59 million (at least, not counting what he and his staffers sent to the migrant caravan) and got 4,018,839 votes in a losing bid. That works out to $14.68 for each LOSING vote. That was money well-spent, IMHO. Seriously, it probably put several Texas TV stations into the black for the year. (not to mention the hit on the wallets and purses of the Hollywood crowd. That's what you get for messin' with Texas, celebtards!)

Before the final results were tallied, there was already talk of him running for President in 2020 and some counseling that he run as VP to Joe Biden and be in office for eight years, then eight more years as Pres. after that. I don't think Biden's liver will hold out for that long, but who knows?

I think whoever came up with THAT idea is drinking some of the same moonshine that Biden and Beto have been drinking.

I got a campaign slogan for them: Biden/Beto - Beta Boy Boozers!

Then there were some comparing him to Kennedy...which I expect they meant John F., but what with his drunk driving conviction and attempt to flee the scene, I am thinking he's more like Teddy K than JFK. I think the running for President talk is a little premature and that he should be like Teddy...and drive off that bridge when he comes to it.

If you have any comments, feel free to P.M. me. I will lock this thread in order to keep the Persian Pansy from vandalizing it.

... [ More ]
