And one thing I like about him is that while I've read he's "mostly" a Democrat, he's appeared in ads for a Republican candidate (another Scientologist, I believe). Still, however he thinks politically, he basically keeps it to himself.

<br />I remember seeing him in Taps and then The Outsiders and thinking he was going to be a star. Right before Risky Business, which IMHO made him a star, he was in a great little h.s. football flick All the Right Moves which I really enjoyed. He has had a few clunkers along the way, but he's box office gold now.
