Original Blog Entry: Me trying to follow thru on Resolution

Well I see those big jackpots and realize I do not have $40 million in the bank or higher and want to play for it even with my $3 tickets. But I had a new years resolution that said play only when the jackpot was around $300 million for powerball and mega millions. Then $5 million for the state lotto Oregon Megabucks but I have a multi-draw ticket for 7 more draws so my resolution is not working. I think I have to be more realistic about my choices and just play when I said I would and not when I see the money on the lotto screens at the store. It is hard not to be an every drawing player because you want to win the big bucks but if I just wait until the limits and then play I will play less. It probably is not going to be easy because I like to have a $20 in my wallet at all times for spending like drinks and hotdogs. Then after I eat and drink I say to myself let's gamble for a few bucks and I like to play just to see if I can beat the odds and win a prize. Well it is the 13th of April and I spent half my budget on junk or $50 on fountain sodas jerky hotdogs and lotto I think I will save my other $50 for May to play when the jackpots are bigger.-weshar75
