I remember when this happened. It was great to see after a decade of watching whining brats protesting in the streets and burning their draft cards. It was the nation's Bicentennial and instead of celebrating as we should, President Ford wasn't doing a whole lot to inspire confidence in many. Little did we know we'd have another four yrs. of even less confidence with the President after him, huh?
