The last couple days the male flowers on the squash plants have started to bloom. The female flowers are about ready to bloom. The cages around the squash worked out quite well for the leaves to grow up and out being supported by the cage.

The Swiss chard grew nicely. Harvested one plant for my salad last night. I like the flavor of uncooked Swiss chard.

All the flowers are doing fine except for the pansies in two buckets on the shepherds pole.

May have some photos to post of the container garden at some point in time.
