Thanks Sully. Look into led bulbs, 4000-5000K heat spectrum which is daylight. More expensive initially but don't burn much current.

Thanks JAP. Once upon a time in a land far away (meaning when Maytag was a US company and manufactured in the US) their dishwashers were the best at cleaning even large loads. Your dishes really got clean and they had a sani-cycle where the last rinse was heated very hot to sterilize them. They were very durable. Those were the days which exist no longer. That was American ingenuity and made in America quality.

Do our dishes in the kitchen sink. Get to inspect every item after the rinse. Stack of normal household dishes do not take much more than 20 minutes to do up and put them away.<br />My daughter had an automatic dishwasher where she lived at one time. She always had to rinse or wipe the dishes before she put them in the dishwasher. Go through all that trouble to get them in the dishwasher you might as well wash and rinse them in the sink.

The new ones have too many toys, wear out too quickly and way too slow.

Here s The Next Obama-Era Reg Trump s Energy Department Is Preparing To Nix

https://dailycaller.com/2019/07/03/trump-energy-dominant-america/
