Happy to hear the fans work, Mike. Simpler is better. I was looking at those White Noise machines online and they run anywhere from $29 to over $100. I've had birds chirping, waves crashing ...but if they haven't found a cure for noise "inside" the head. LOL

thanks rick and justxploring,i went and bought two box fans and thats going to block out the other noise.great ideas.those fans are perfect.

In my case, a fan and other sounds just add to the problem. I need dead silence, which is really tough to get. Another suggestion is to block out any light in the room. I throw a blanket over my curtains sometimes because I'm very light sensitive. Winning a few million is another suggestion. Relieves all sorts of stress

What works for me is having a fan running to block out unwanted noise.
