That plastic will end up in our bodies from consuming fish, we need to clean this up and support the people who are out there doing just that.

As a species we've done a horrible job taking care of mother earth we need to clean it up and stop pollution our oceans and fresh water sources. And sadly were the only species that pollutes the earth.

Following up on the thread on konane's recent post U.N. Stuns World on Eve of Largest Climate Events Ever, I found this in my YouTube subscription list last night.

I am a climate change skeptic, certainly no eco-warrior and not a tree hugger, but this should alarm us all. You can factually deny many outrageous claims from the left in regards to the environment, but there's no denying this; just like a picture, a video can speak a thousand words. Actually, it's even worse than depicted, with places in the oceans where currents meet called gyres forming huge masses of plastic debris; the Pacific Gyre plastic patch is larger than Texas.
