<br />It was amazing how they discovered Vicki Lawrence, someone who looked as though she could easily have been Burnett's young sister. She was such a beauty, nearly as good at comedy as was CB.<br /><br />It's too bad variety shows went the way of the dinosaurs, there were some good ones with great guests and hilarious comedy. The last time I tuned into Saturday Night Live, I don't think a single gag made me even smile, much less guffaw and I didn't think much of the musical guests, either.... [ More ]
