thanks pac and rick i'll let you both know.my daughter was ok today but my son never whines and he was really crying today so i know i got to get it fixed soon.it was 85 today.i'll let you both know what i repair to fix it when i see the mechanic.

I forgot to add that in my case, the back motor was out, not the front....LOL

Either way, I don't think it would be a major repair except that labor costs working on vans are higher than regular vehicles. Let me know what happens. I might need this same repair in the future.

My van has a toggle switch for directing the air into the front part of the cabin or the front and back of the cabin. What you are describing sounds like one of two things. Your fan motor for the front of the cabin needs to be replaced or you have a defective switch. My guess is that it's the fan motor. I'm assuming your defroster is not working either. If it is, then it could be another problem.
