You are right about being over there forever dealing with their interior problems. That problem of power control in the mid east has been going on for centuries.

the tricky thing is we could be over there forever while they have all these interior squabbles over who will finally rule.i'm not the smartest person by any means but it seems like our military is going to be spread very thin.so what happens if we are spread thin and then we are attacked? where is the manpower going to come from.it scares me......
