The House of Representatives voted 359-53 on the bill, with two Democratic lawmakers and 50 Republicans breaking with party leadership on the proposals. The Libertarian Rep. They should have kept the money in the U.S. Guess who pays for the money going overseas. The taxpayers. They need to put us first for a change. Now we know what they think of the people here that are suffering. We need term limits. The swamp is wide, it is deep, and it doesn't care.

The dems wanted $2000 instead of $600 -but the republicans blocked it. There is alot of fluff in the bill. Money to other countries as usual.

If Congress took the $900 billion from the stimulus package, and gave it to every single person in the U.S. (331 Million of us.) Each one of us would have gotten $2,719.

Instead we will get $600. Where is the other $2,119 per person going?

The package was 5,593 pdf pages long. Did anyone actually read the entire thing?
