Suddenly we have pastors & preachers in the WH getting paid tax payers money to whisper nonsense in the Commander in chief 's ear's. What does That tell you if their wishes did not come true? Who was strong enough to derail the plans of God, to deny Trump a 2nd Term? Short answer- no one, which proves God was never with Trump to begin with, it was all an illusion.<br

Trump does have a point because many of military bases named after a Civil War hero were named while many of the veterans from both the North and the South were still living. There is a consistency in the fact most of the Forts were named after a famous Civil War hero born and/or lived in that state. For instance Ft. Lee in Virginia, Ft. Hood in Texas, and Ft. Gordon in Georgia.

There is also the history of some these Forts that has absolutely nothing to do with who they are named for. While Ft. Benning, Georgia is named for a Confederate General, it became famous for it's infantry school and where General George Patton organized the 2nd Armor Division. I was stationed at both Benning and Hood, but never once wondered how they got their name.

IMO, see no evidence that any of these military installations were named to annoy, insult, or discriminate. Times change, but there should be more public discussion than simply trying to be politically correct. The next question is the new names, how they will be decided, and will they pass the test of time.

... [ More ]
