On a more serious note: l read that Dr James Phillips who criticized Trump's limo ride outside Walter Reed worked his last shift there, getting transferred elsewhere. Since when does a Lame Duck President care about things that happened back in Oct and where the criticism was warranted? Oh wait, l see a pattern- the General election was Nov 3rd and Trump is still going on about it. Sigh!

And that's about the same amount we gave to Egypt every year since 1987. Read where it adds up to about $51 billion since the 1978 Camp David Accords and the 1979 Egypt-Israel Treaty of Peace. As for necessity and strategic importance, President George H. W. Bush forgave all of Egypt's $7.1 billion military debt just before the first Gulf War.

Many people are saying they are happy getting $600 and the $1.3 billion going to Egypt is just one example of why some House and Senate members don't think our country can afford direct payments of even $1200. The final House vote on the motion to suspend the rules and pass: H R 9051 CASH Act was 275-134.

My Congressman voted nay and at least one of my Senators will probably vote nay when they get their turn.
