Before this current debacle Georgia required voter ID and for anyone who could not afford it, the state paid for that ID. That law was challenged in the courts but ruled to be legal. Other states can do the same. I was born in the state, never moved out but when I went to the DMV for a change of address I was required to bring a certified birth certificate and other proof of identification before any change could be made. If our current election handling were that secure we wouldn't be in the controversy we're in right now.... [ More ]
