<br />Take a look at this: Trump's poll numbers NEVER went above 50% throughout his tenure as President. If fact he left the WH with a low of 34% approval rating. That is unheard of- added to the fact is that this talk about " Coming back in 2024 to take the WH, is nothing short of a pipe dream. Another option for a one-termer is being elected Vice-President and becoming President after the removal, resignation, or death of the sitting President. Though a real long shot another way is in the succession process as Speaker of the House, President pro tempore of the Senate or a Cabinet secretaries.

While Presidents are allowed two terms, the terms don't have to be consecutive so Jimmy Carter is eligible to be elected President at age 100 in 2024.

Saw many opinions saying the former president cannot be reinstated, but strangely enough can't find one article or opinion explaining how that could be possible in the middle of another president's term. If I recall correctly Civics and Government classes are taught to in middle school though some high schools offer advanced courses. If someone can explain how reinstatement is possible especially by August, we'd all like to hear it.

... [ More ]
