Tragically our son moved out San Francisco 3 months ago, when we visited last November, we noticed a lot of broken glass on the streets. My son mentioned that they had reduced the charges for breaking into automobiles from a felony to a misdemeanor and as a result cars were being broken into all the time. :-(

Maybe the guard would kingly hold the door for the exiting criminal who as his hands over full ? ?

<br />* Case in point, a number of years ago a Security guard outside a bank stopped a suspect, threw the guy to the ground: Long story short, the suspect ended up with broken ribs & head trauma. Target others closing San Francisco stores early in response to theft and safety concerns :-(

Forty percent of residents are planning to leave the city in the next few years, a poll conducted by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce suggested, and 8 out of 10 San Franciscans believe crime has worsened in the city, leading to a lower quality of life for them.
