Played golf with a guy that was on a destroyer and saw one or two getting hit and fire everywhere. Can't imagine being below deck when the ship was hit.

Twenty-five years later I can remember standing and giving a moment of silence in school. I knew two men that were in the Navy at Pearl Harbor that morning. Most of the men at the VFW I belonged to were WWII Vets and each of their lives were greatly effected when the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan .
