It might have been just a muscle spasm brought on by sleeping in an odd position but, given the level and duration of the pain you described, it&#x27;s definitely something you should bring to your doctor&#x27;s attention. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Mike, I wanted to add that it could be signs of an ulcer too.  Do you feel as if belching helps?  (not trying to be funny)  When I used to get a pain in my lower left rib cage, I took Tagamet or Zantac and Tylenol and it went away.</p>]]></description>

Unfortunately, moving is very difficult when you feel as if you&#x27;re going to die if you breathe!  Sometimes my arm tingles too.  However, I had an echogram and related heart tests to rule out heart disease in 2002 when a doctor thought I had a heart problem.
