* Everyone wants to " pinpoint" the so called site of Christ birth, but its guesswork at best as to the exact location. Pilgrims go to the Mount of Olives, but since its so vast, its just a wandering tour but no one can say " The Lord ascended to heaven from within this radius right here!"

<br />Not to be provocative but when the Holy Church was seized, the first responder should have been the Pope physically and not just symbolically, at the doorway and even if he would take a bullet for what we stand for as Jesus died for us.

Unbelievable 40 day and night standoff with Israeli troops at traditional birth place of Jesus Christ causing a innocent unarmed friar fatality.

No major outrage about this serious violation heard from ostensible Christian countries. Note the extremists would not dare grab a Jewish Synagogue because Israel has powerful Army that would retaliate in force. There is no longer Christians to protect it's interest in th Holy Land

Whatever we hold dear, if not protected and secured will be lost to us and future generations :-(
