It takes pain, abuse, torture and suffering to train an elephant just to give rides to people in foreign countries. Then after doing that all day they are chained up in a tiny area and kept from socializing with other elephants. I find that to be inhumane. That is torture for an animal that has an innate need to socialize with its own kind.
