i had the same issues too.finally switched to the cable connection a few months back.you'll love it.....

<br />I new in the very instant that my cable was hooked up that i will never use the phone line to connect to the Internet. However there supposed to be coming out with something where all you will have to do is plug you PC into the power strip plug that into the wall and whammo your connected to the internet.
