And that's exactly what the Trump loving MAGA Kool-Aid drinkers want the gullible and uneducated to believe. Do these real charges look like simple trespassing ?

Assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers using a deadly or dangerous weapon; carrying a pistol without a license.

Entering and remaining in any restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly or disruptive conduct in the Capitol grounds or buildings; act of physical violence in the Capitol grounds or buildings; destruction of government property

These are just a few charges 329 people entered pleas of guilty for. On January 13, 2022, the Department of Justice unsealed an indictment against the leader of the Oath Keepers, Elmer Stewart Rhodes, and 10 associates, charging them with seditious conspiracy, the most severe charge levied against any of the alleged Capitol rioters so far.
