"The guy is 82" is not helping his case. Nobody wants to take the keys from grandma or grandpa, I get it, but the fact is people in their 80s have as many accidents as people in their early 20s and being drunk makes it worse. And unlike the latter group, people in their 80s don't get better over time. Some 90 year olds are fit to drive, and some 70 year olds are not. It's very individual. * The guy is 82, he plead guilty, paid the other driver $5,000 and the insurance replaced the guys jeep. He killed no one, but l guess you want him to serve 5 years in jail. You know all about being " charged" why not spill the beans on your time in the correctional facility. Make us laugh.

I'd like to know what the average punishment is for a sloppy drunk causing an accident with injuries who isn't a Democrat Congresswoman's husband and filthy rich. Looks like the fix was in as usual. California Justice on display, the poor go to jail and the rich and connected walk.
