They are getting About 10 bushels to an acre when they have harvested as high as 80 to 90 bushels an acre. Their acreage is in the thousands<br />. <br />Eastern farms with good growing seasons have either gone out of business or been sold to home developers. Eastern farms do not have the acreage per farm to warrant purchase of big farm equipment.
